Work Schedule: 40+ hours / week: M - F; may require weekends and extended periods during system outages and events
Work Description: Provides administrative support for the daily operations of KUB’s Overhead Construction Department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the preparation and maintenance of essential departmental records such as payroll,
contractor payment requisitions, spreadsheets, databases and reports; and the preparation of other relevant department data. Reviews
and prepares billing information for third party damage repairs. Receives and validates contractor invoices. Identifies process
improvement areas, becomes familiar with and utilizes KUB's various information technology programs. Organizes and maintains files
and supplies. Maintains a working knowledge of KUB's policies and procedures in order to support managers, supervisors and others.
Specific duties are further defined according to assignment. Works overtime, changes roles / assignments, etc. as needed in response
to trouble and emergency system conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of administrative experience or a combination of education and experience in the operation of general office
equipment, i.e., personal computers, printers, copiers and facsimiles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work with confidential information and exercise discretion
• Valid TN driver's license
Physical Demands: Sedentary Work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force
frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the
time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced training in office administration or office technology
• Three years of administrative experience in a team environment
• Advanced skills with People Soft Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Financial Management Systems, (FMS), and
Customer Information System (CIS)
• Advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database management software programs, including but
not limited to Microsoft Office Software
