Job Information Job Classification: Business Management Associate Department: 063 Overhead Construction Work

Location: 4505 Middlebrook Pike Work Schedule: 40+ hours / week: M - F; may require weekends and extended periods of work during system outages and events Work Description: Acts in support of management and employees by providing administrative and program assistance as well as technical analysis related to the maintenance and construction of KUB’s Electric System.

Duties will include general office functions and administrative tasks, data management and analysis, occasional project management, financial process support, procedure documentation, performance reporting, records and document management, and various other activities to help facilitate process improvement initiatives across the entire spectrum of the department. Will work directly with manager, supervisors, and stakeholders throughout the organization to facilitate the safe, effective, and consistent execution of KUB processes.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Associate degree or two (2) years of documented college level course work in Business, Technology or related area or one (1) to three (3) years of demonstrated experience in related field, such as Business Management, Program Management, and/or Administrative Support, and/or recognition as a subject matter expert; strong written and verbal communication skills; Strong team, interpersonal, and customer service skills; Excellent organizational skill Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Ability to work with confidential information and exercise discretion; Have and maintain a valid Tennessee driver's license Physical

Demands: Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Exercises mental and visual alertness frequently. Subject to occasional strict time schedules. May require bending, stooping, and moving around the work site.

Preferred Qualifications 
