Responsibilities Sets up and operates standard and specialized machine shop tools and equipment, both manual and CNC controlled. Fabricates, reworks, and/or repairs jigs, fixtures, gages, tools, and components by reading and comprehending complex blueprints. Performs one-of-a-kind or repetitive

tasks involving machining, assembly, finishing, and grinding of various products to close tolerances. Must be able to check dimensional requirements and specifications using hand tools, gages, functional

gages, and other prescribed measuring equipment.

 Requirements This position is for a journeyman machinist. Minimum qualifications are six years' current journeyman machinist experience in a production or inspection environment. Will be subject to work in Radiological Controlled Areas, handling of special materials, and must be able to work around Beryllium.

This position requires a "Q" clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance is required.
