Specific Job Responsibilities:
Major Duties and Responsibilities of Position: Develop and maintain UPF Maintenance Program planning and strategy documents. Serve as the organizations lead for planning and executing small scale pilot projects and special initiatives associated with the UPF Maintenance Transition Plan. Supports development of long range deliverables and schedules and ensures they are fully integrated across all functional and support organizations. Supports the development of fully integrated, long range budget forecasts with sufficient fidelity to provide compelling justification for funding. Participate in and/or lead multidiscipline review teams. Participate in and/or lead management assessments and surveillances to monitor organizational performance. Prepares technical presentations and documents in support of both organizational and project initiatives and reviews. Serves as the organizations Lessons Learned Coordinator
Specific Job Knowledge & Training Required:
The position requires a Bachelor degree plus 5 or more years of experience in operations disciplines or at least 15 years of progressive, relevant education and work experience in operations, maintenance or project execution. The candidate should have a working Knowledge of SAP systems. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requires understanding and basic working knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices in project management, scheduling and estimating.
Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Requires a Q clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. (The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance is required.)
The job level will be determined based upon relevant education and experience of the selected candidate. Internal applicants currently in the same ladder, if selected, will maintain their current level and pay.
