Work Schedule: 40+ hours / week: 7:30 am- 4:30 pm, M - F

Work Description: Primary responsibilities include the operation of digital printing and finishing equipment including production laser printers, paper cutting machinery, paper folding machinery, laminators, paper drills, and binding equipment. Responsibilities also include the operation of mail insertion machinery, postage meters, and the preparation/processing of mail in accordance with USPS manifest mail rules and regulations. Role requires the use of Microsoft Windows-based software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat Professional to process internal printing and mailing requests. Role also requires making deliveries using a KUB provided vehicle. Additional duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent

• Must be trainable to operate all currently existing or new mail processing, printing, and finishing equipment

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong PC skills and experience using Windows-based software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat Professional

• Basic knowledge or demonstrated aptitude to learn CIS or any similar customer information system

• Valid Tennessee driver's license

Physical Demands: Requires considerable walking, going up and down stairs, getting in and out of vehicle at each mail station, lifting and carrying mail up to 40 lbs. on a daily basis. Requires standing for long periods of time while sorting mail, running inserter, etc. Must have good hand/eye coordination and good manual dexterity to operate equipment with moving parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. Postal Service rules and regulations regarding postage rates and mail preparation such as bulk mail and permit mail

• Experience using production printing, cutting, and folding equipment

• Experience using binding and bookmaking equipment

• Experience working with confidential data

• Experience operating postage metering equipment

• Experience operating mail insertion machinery
