ES&H, Inc. is Recognized Among the Fastest Growing Companies at the National and State Levels
Environmental, Safety and Health, Inc. (ES&H,Inc.) of Knoxville was recognized by Hispanic Business Magazine among the 100 fastest growing Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States. The Fastest–Growing 100 is based on revenue growth over 5 years (from 2000 to 2004). Companies included in the Hispanic Business 100 Fastest Growing Companies must show at least 51 percent ownership by Hispanic U.S. citizens, and must maintain headquarters in one of the 50 states or Washington, D.C. Companies must submit revenue figures based on their IRS report on line 1c of the corporate/partnership tax return. The revenue figure must be submitted on a signed form verified by the CEO, CFO, or a CPA representing the company.
ES&H, Inc. is included in this year‘s Hispanic Business 500. In the four year timeframe, ES&H,Inc. grew a whooping 1869% - placing them 10th in the ranking. These businesses are identified as the 500 largest Hispanic-owned companies in the United States. The list appeared in the June 2005 issue of Hispanic Magazine.
ES&H, Inc. has also been recognized at the state level. Business Tennessee, the state’s business monthly magazine, has assembled its second annual Business Tennessee Fast 50 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in Tennessee. The list has appeared in the August 2005 issue and it includes ES&H, Inc. of Knoxville. Bill Garibay, President of ES&H, Inc. states, “We work hard to be responsive to our clients and provide responsive service at reasonable costs. Getting this recognition firmly establishes ES&H, Inc. in the construction and environmental consulting arena.”
ES&H, Inc. started in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1997 with one employee and primarily worked for commercial clients locally. Now ES&H, Inc. has three offices and conducts work in all 50 states, and works for the federal government (DOE, DoD, Department of Interior, GSA, etc.) as well as commercial clients. ES&H, Inc. received its Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) certification as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) in 2002.
