Mobile Mexican Consulate Will Come to Knoxville
This is the official announcement for the mobile Mexican consulate that will be coming to Knoxville August 25-28th to All Saints Catholic Church at 620 North Cedar Bluff Rd. If someone is interested in an appointment, per the instructions on the announcement, they must call the 1-877-639-4835 starting Monday August 17th to schedule an appointment time for one of those days. These calls can NOT be made PRIOR to August 17th. Nationals from Mexico need to bring the appropriate documents necessary to receive passports and/or matriculas and those items are listed on the announcement. If there is any questions regarding those items, please contact the consulate in Atlanta for more information. Their number is 404-266-2233, ext. 281.
For those interested in volunteering to help us coordinate this event, please contact Nathaly Perez or Charlie Mulligan at Catholic Charities 865-971-3550. This time around, school will be in session, therefore, we’ll need additional volunteers help coordinate parking, since Catholic High School shares the parking lot with the church and its activities. Bilingual volunteers preferred but not necessary! We need at least 10 different people working shifts from 8am-1pm everyday. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
