The Golden Hammer Soccer Tournament
The Golden Hammer Tournament to be held in Knoxville
As part of the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, four organizations (The Home Depot, MiBanco, The Pitch and the Hispanic Chamber) are joining forces to sponsor the Golden Hammer Soccer Tournament in Knoxville. Sixteen teams in four groups of four will participate in this event starting on Sunday, October 4th. Half of the teams will be playing at AYSO 337 Soccer Complex on Rifle Range Road and the other half at Holston River Park on Holston Hills Drive. The games are scheduled to start at 9:00 AM and will conclude around 7:00 PM on the first day. The top two teams out of each group will advance to play on the second day which is Sunday, October11th. These eight teams will be placed in a single elimination bracket and will begin quarterfinal play at 9:00 AM at both respective parks. Once these games are completed, the top two teams will meet at 5:00 PM at the AYSO 337 Soccer Complex to play for the championship prize.
Come and join us for these very exciting games that will be played during these two consecutive Sundays. Your attendance will help us make this tournament a vital part of the annual celebrations of the Hispanic Heritage Month in Knoxville.
